Well since its way to cold for us to go outside most nights, we have to come up with some sort of entertainment. The kids sure have come up with some great ideas ALL by themselves!


Not sure if Nolan learned this at Grandmas house b/c my brother and I use to to the same thing!

Well we would love it if Nolan decides to go to the University of Iowa someday, I guess we never thought it might be on a band scholarship!

Oh he just loves his "drums". So glad they have such great imaginations!

Halloween Party

Last weekend we went to a super fun Halloween party. The kids just loved it. We colored Witches, decorated cookies and cupcakes and painted pumpkins.

Pumpkin Patch Time

Today we ventured to Vala's Pumpkin Patch. I haven't been to Vala's since I was in high school, boy has it changed. It is for sure one of the biggest and best Pumpkin Patches around. I think today we only saw maybe half of it and we were there for 3 plus hours!

Definetly the boys favorite part of the day, the train ride!


It will be neat to go each year and see how they've grown.



I am very thankful for my dear friend Sarah. She always knows the hot spots and I can count on her to show us the way. Plus our kids always have a great time together!

Up Close at the ZOO!

Last week we ventured to the zoo for another visit. It was perfect weather and for some reason there was barley anyone there. Which made our trip even better! As you can see by some of the pics the kids got up close with some of the animals.

Marlee's favorite was the aquarium. She loved all the fish!

Football weather

I thought I would get a cute picture of the kids before we headed out to the football game. I couldn't believe I was dressing them in sweatshirts already. I swear we were just swimming the other day! Well I didn't have much luck getting them to look at the camera!

Yes! We have moved again! Nolan was glad to give up the gravel for cement.

We even brought the sand!

I must say the kids are very happy here!

Yep! we have been married 5 years, Nolan is almost 4 and we are in our 4th house. WOW. That's a lot of moving I must say. Hopefully its a permanent move :)

New Bike

Nolan just loves his new bike. However we have very little cement or hard surface on the farm. So Nolan has gotten good at riding in circles!


Its doesn't seem to bother him. I guess you could say green is his favorite color ;)
