What a good big brother.

Nolan and Dad doing their new nightly routine of reading books. I must say it works very well. However it only works for daddy so when daddys gone its not so easy for mom to get Nolan to bed! Were working on it!

After all the rain a few weeks ago we had quite a few worms in our yard that Nolan found and was very fascinated with!

WOW!

I was looking through old pictures when I came across this one of Nolan and realized it looked JUST like Marlee. They could pass for twins, thank goodness there 2 1/2 years apart!

Play Date

On average we usually get together with my college roommate and her kids about 2-3 times a month. We sure do love our play dates with Cooper, Haydin and Ty.

Nolan really liked there new swing set

We have been having play dates since Nolan was born so for 2 1/2 years. Its amazing how they have come to finally "play" together!

Marlee spent her time in her sling...which she loves! Someday her and Haydin will enjoy the play dates together.

Oh were has our baby gone! I found it so amazing how big Nolan seemed when we came home from the hospital with Marlee. I must say he is also acting much older these days!

Nolan doesn't like when we feed Marlee, I guess its to much one on one time with her. Its so surprise to find my house in a mess after a feeding. I guess he thinks that I won't get up from feeding her. One of these days I am going to have to or he is going to destroy the house. Here he is in the next room "cleaning" out his toy box!

Mr. Innocent!

I realized that when Nolan goes to grandmas or the Y I take the diaper bag. So Nolan needed a bag of his own for his stuff. Pottery Barn has the cutest preschool backpacks...a must buy! Nolan loves to put it on himself. He's growing up so fast!

Making Progress!

Since the day Marlee came home Nolan has not given her much attention. I guess we can take it as a good thing. We didn't have to worry about him smothering her. However as we reach month one we are making progress!

What a big brother. Nolan was playing with Marlee's bears in there room and I told him that those are Marlee's. I turn around and he's gone, this is what I find. This is when we first knew he knew what we meant when we said Marlee!

Watching TV together!

Marlee rarely gets to be on the floor. We usually have her in her swing or in her bouncy seat on the couch. This way if we leave the room she should be okay! We were going to try out the Baby Einstein and as soon as we got on the floor here comes Mr. Nolan! I must say he did pretty good with her. However he looks to darn ornery in this picture!

We're Back

Well we didn't go anywhere we just did not have Internet connection for a while. So sorry for the lack of postings.

Oh the things he does these days to get attention. I couldn't find him one day...he was hiding under our bed. I will admit I panicked for a second until I heard his giggling.
